This guide will enable you to have a complete digital backup of your Skylander figures in the format that allows you to write the backups to mifare tags in the event that the RFID chip inside your Skylander completely stops working (No longer recognised by portal at all).
The acr122u reads high frequency only as far as im aware, but i use mine with a tool called mifare windows tool. So far has done everything I need it to, except for reading lf. The apex flex page said something about java though, honestly I dont know if it will be compatible.
I think the original Mifare classic card's UID is only being used so I could just copy the UID to the magic card's sector 0. But - I appear to have an entire dump, so is there a Windows program that uses the MFOC dump file to clone the card? Acr122u NFC Cloning on WSL. If your ACR122U isn't recognized when opening the software (PS/CS Mifare) it could be because you're running windows in a VM or from a remote desktop (which was my problem) I connected the ACR122U, followed the instructions as best as I could and it worked. I successfully changed the UID and Block0 of the 7-byte Gen3 Magic Card using an ACR122U Windows + ACR122U. Inside the ZIP file are two tools which work with Windows and the ACR122U reader. You must have the PC/SC drivers installed for this reader for these tools to work. mfocGUI - MiFare Offline Cracking GUI.

Then using reflection, enable mifare emulation. Then using a mifare reader/writer (hid 6055b), I encode the data (sectors and blocks, in my case sector 1) onto the phone. In essence, I treat the phone as a mifare ID card. That is, i copied my id card to the phone. You can't programmatically set this. NXP owns mifare.
