The smart card works perfectly with my 2011 CT200h. It should work with all of them. Even Sewell Lexus sells the smart card for all CT200h's. If a dealer refuses to program it, then it is because they are lazy and dont want money for a 2 minute job. Even my local dealer cut the backup key for the card by the VIN and they did it wrong. Sunnyvale, California. Vehicle: 2006 Prius. I think the take home message is that part number 89994-48142 is a 14ACX specification fob. My keyfob is HYQ14ACX. The keycard I got from the Lexus dealer is HYQ14AEB. Worked well during programming as described below. I had an 0 dollar credit at the dealer, so partly used it on this keycard. I have the same FCC ID on my key card and works on my 2013 ct. Reply Quote Like. Toyotas are weird when it comes to smart keys. If you buy a used key, the truck will know that when trying to program. Some will allow you to add, others will force you to reset the immobilizer. Not sure why this is the case, but that's how ALL Toyota/Lexus smart access systems are. Add takes ~5mins to do, reset is ~16-20mins.
Sadly it only came with a Smart card key and no fobs. I tried to buy a key fob but I didnt find the matching FCC ID with my card (do the card and fobs FCC ID need to match?). Is there a way I can find the correct FCC ID for the fob as I think the card and fobs FCCID do not match. My card FCC ID is HYQT4AEF (or HYQT4AB as its a little blurry)
